Mission
ArtSouth
is unique among arts centers in that it features
both the performing and visual arts in a single
complex, supporting artists, art education,
service learning and community outreach.
Our mission is to promote growth and vitality in
the community; to provide affordable space to
studio artists; to provide educational
opportunities in the arts for all ages, in a
central location; and to provide cultural events for
the community that attract talented artists,
artisans, actors, musicians and enthusiastic
audiences.
Our overarching goal is to utilize the arts as a
tool for community revitalization.
