The list of accomplishments since ArtSouth opened its doors to the
public in April 2001 is long and diverse. Our current roster of
tenants include two not-for-profit cultural organizations, the ArtSouth School,
and 36 juried full-time professional artists. Improvements include the completed renovation
of the 2-story Fine Arts Building and the installation of a ADA approved
elevator to service the Fine Arts Building and the 3-story Fine Crafts
and Sculpture Building. We are near completion of the total renovation of the
Fine Crafts building
and the installation of a Foundry and Ceramic Kiln Facility.
We are also focusing on the development of a music and dance
classroom. Adjacent to the ArtSouth complex are two parking
lots and the Paradise Way and Sculpture Garden.
The Sanctuary at ArtSouth is
a 6,500 square foot historic building
formerly known as First Baptist Church, available to seat 300 for dance, theater,
concerts, cinema conferences and exhibitions. If you are
