There’s a slight chill
in the air as October sweeps in to lighten our
summer heat. It’s time to unpack the blankets and
Grandma’s old quilt. The familiar patchwork and
ragged pattern bring back memories of days gone by,
but these days, quilting is more than just squares
and thread. It has become a veritable form of
artistic expression, as evident in ArtSouth’s
Exhibition this month.
Featuring quilt work
by artists Marianne Williamson and Judy Momenzadeh,
this exhibition raises the awareness of the modern
changes that have taken place in this age old
passion.
