Luis works mostly with oil paints on stretched canvas. His subject matter is varied, from still life to an occasional portrait. However, landscape painting is his favorite subject: "...there is nothing more rewarding than to capture the beauty, uniqueness and sometimes mystery of nature's work...when your hands manipulate the pigments into the shapes, colors and moods that your eyes and your feelings have imprinted in your brain is like watching a small miracle developing right in front of you." | |||
